Calculate Your Consumption!

Hey everyone! Summer is coming to an end but our Greener Together site visits and events are still going strong! With our Resident Education Kits making their way across Ontario, I’d like to welcome our friends in Burlington, Mississauga, Amherstburg, Brampton, Sault Ste. Marie, Thornhill and Ottawa to GreenerTogether.ca!

If you’re reading this right now, and this is your first visit to the site, take a look around and see what it has to offer! For those of you who’ve been to the website before, I’d like to direct you to a recent addition to the site: our brand spankin’ new Energy Calculator! When you go to the “Cool Stuff” link above, the Energy Calculator will be your first option. Click on it and see how much energy your unit is burning! You can just play around with it or create your own profile and calculate appliance by appliance, how much electricity it takes to run your home.

Once you know how much electricity your appliances are using, check out our “Tips for Saving” page under the “Links & Tips” link to see how you can lower that number and make your unit a Certified Conservation Station!
